The LeviCell 12 uses the same Selective Arrayed Levitation Technology (SALT™) array format, reagents and protocols as the LeviCell 96. Levitation conditions, sample types and downstream fit that you prove out on 12 samples carry straight across to 96 samples per run on standard SBS-compatible robotics.
That makes the LeviCell 12 the natural starting point for labs that are building toward automated, high-throughput sample prep: a bench-scale system today, and the method-development platform for the LeviCell 96 tomorrow.

Three hands-on steps, twelve samples
Load
Mix each sample with Levitation Agent and pipette it into the wells of the SALT™ array.
Levitate
Viable cells rise into a tight band above dead cells and debris during a 40-minute levitation, with no labels, beads or centrifuge.
Collect
Remove dead cells, debris and supernatant, then collect the enriched fraction from every well, ready for counting and downstream assays.
Enriched cells in 45 minutes from loading to collection, with about 5 minutes of hands-on time.

Levitation separates by density and magnetic signature, not by labels, so one platform serves many pipelines.
Cells
PBMCs, dissociated tumors, primary tissue, adherent and suspension lines, from human, non-human and plant sources.
Nuclei
Viable nuclei enriched away from debris ahead of snRNA-seq and multiome.
Organoids and spheroids
Whole or dissociated organoids, standardized for screening and toxicity studies.
Particles
From bacteria to large cells and clusters. Debris and contaminants are tolerated and removed.
